A Witch attends church quietly. Her familiars- a Raven and a Black cat attend to her as she feels the enchanting autumn air. This is a Sunday well spent. She is not like the other Witches. She thinks for herself. She has lived a great life and she is always growing, loves the great stories and feels a connection to the Earth and the Sky in her own way. There is nothing like the Fall... when sentimental insights fall to her from the heavens not unlike the blazing colored leaves that meander down through the air from the trees.

A mighty special piece indeed. It was like a dream capturing the autumn and all her majesty. There was not only this wonderful scene to paint but also more thatn a few still lifes to paint. And on top of that I made a Photograph of the piece including the surrounding work area and the leaves painted into the picture. The result was a kind of visual story I have never tried before... phot and painting- each enhancing the other.
